Meet Nicole

I began my Pilates training in 1997 after having surgery to fix torn cartilage in my knee from years of dancing. Pilates offered me a way to rehabilitate and continue dancing professionally for many years. I recall instantly falling in love with Pilates. It not only helped me to rebuild my strength, but it lifted my spirits and provided me with hope and inspiration. As a dancer, dance teacher and performer who loves to help others & is passionate about movement, becoming a career Pilates teacher was a natural progression for me. I received my comprehensive Pilates certification in 2009 in New York City at Core Pilates NYC. I later discovered the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® in 2010. Gyrotonic exercise completely changed the way I approached my own movement and added a deeper layer to my teaching. I received my Gyrotonic certification in March 2013. My life has taken me on quite the fantastic journey . . . from growing up in Orange County, CA, dancing abroad on a cruise ship, living in NYC for 8 years, Chicago for 7 years, and finally landing in the beautiful city of Prescott, AZ where I opened up Core Pilates Prescott and am living out my dream.

What I Can Do For You

I am here to get you EXCITED ABOUT EXERCISING and to help you experience the JOY of moving your body.

I am not just here to give you a session, but to truly TEACH you how to strengthen your body, connect to your body, and get it feeling free & mobile.

You will feel EMPOWERED and not frustrated. I will help you ENJOY working out. It will start to feel like a special treat that you’re giving yourself instead of something you’re forcing yourself to do.

I know first-hand about a lot of the struggles and frustrations involved with working out and trying to stay in shape . . . feeling like you have to force yourself to go to the gym, judging yourself, lacking motivation, comparing yourself to how you used to look or what you used to be able to do. I also know all too well about the mental, emotional and physical effects of being injured and rehabilitating.

BUT, I also know first-hand how much both of these methods (along with the right teacher) can help you accomplish what you want without all of the struggles and frustrations. 

There is SO much more to staying in shape than just being given exercises to execute.

This is where I come in. I will safely challenge you in an environment that offers you patience, positivity, and ENCOURAGEMENT to do YOUR PERSONAL BEST.  I am here to help you work your butt off and have fun doing it! My teaching style is a combination of FUN and FOCUS.

You will leave your sessions feeling STRONGER, TALLER, and MORE ENERGIZED! You will look forward to coming back for more! Any frustrations or reservations you might have with exercising I will help to ease so that you feel comfortable enough to move forward with your fitness goals.  You will learn how to turn exercising into an art form and learn to really enjoy movement.
